Race Times:

8:00 a.m.               Open Trail Race  (non-sanctionedrace for individuals not on high school teams)                             

9:00 a.m.               Girls Varsity   (sevenentries)

9:30 a.m.               Boys Varsity  (sevenentries)

10:00 a.m.            Girls JV          (unlimited entries)

10:45 a.m.            Boys JV          (unlimitedentries)

Course:

The course will be the South CarolinaState Meet Course.  The Start Line and FinishLine areas will be flagged off and off limits to all non-competing athletes,coaches and spectators.  Please help us keepthese areas clear by notifying your parents and athletes before the meet.

Directions:

From I-20:  Take exit 80 (Clemson Road) and head North about 4 milesdown Clemson Roadand you will see SandhillResearch Centeron the right.  Buses and cars must enter fromClemson Roaddirectly across from the SandhillsVillage shopping area.

Parking:

Parking attendants will guide bussesand spectator parking.  Parking will be $5 for all vehiclesexcept for team buses and vans. Please follow attendants’ directions toensure quick and organized parking. 

Restrooms:

Porta- Potties will be available foruse. 

 Participation:

Open to any 7th -12thgrade runners. Runners must be a member of their high school team.

This meet is sanctioned by the NFHS formember schools from SC, NC, and GA.

 Team Tents:

Team tents may be set up behind thebrick building and outside of the flag area near the award stands.  No team tents will be allowed along thegrassy area by the start and finish lines or next to the course.  Pleasekeep all team areas and athletes away from the brick admin building. Trashbags will be provided with your team packet. Please help clean up your team area before you leave. 

 Awards:

The top 3varsity teams and top 3 JV teamswill receive a trophy.

Varsity races- Top 15 individuals will receive medals;

JV races- Top 10 individuals will receive medals.

Awards ceremony will begin at 11:45 a.m. in the flagged off awardsarea under the big yellow and white tent. 

 Entries:

 T-Shirts:

Commemorative t-shirts will be on saleat the meet for $10.

 Entry Fee:

$10 per athlete, $50 per team (boys andgirls team from same school is $100)

Location: Sandhill Research Center, Clemson Road,Columbia

Time: 8:00am(awards at 8:45am)

Course:Mostly grass, some hard dirt road, short woods trail

Entry Fee: $15on line (T-shirts on sale for $10)

Day of Race Entry Fee: $20 cash or check(T-shirts on sale for $10)

Entries Close: Online entries end October 6th at 5pm

Packet Pick-up: On site starting at 7:00am

Age Groups:14 and younger, 15-45, 46 and older

Awards: Plaquesto top 3 in each age group for male and female

                $100 to best overall time for male and female
